DIY – Glasses Organizer

Here it is, guys! I had made a step by step instruction guide, with photos, but my memory card failed! ARGH! I will write out the steps below, it’s very easy!

Can’t wait to make another! Here’s the instructions:

  1. Gather your supplies. To make one like mine, you’ll need a frame, 2 small eye screws, and some wire. You’ll also need a measuring device, a marking pen, and some pliers to cut your wire.
  2. To figure out where to place your wire, simply eyeball where you’d like your glasses to hang. (I used a pair of glasses for this.) Using your pen, mark on the inside on one of the frame’s sides. Then measure to that point and transfer marking to the other side of the frame. This is where you will place your eyescrews! (Remember: righty tighty, lefty loosey.)
  3. Measure the distance between your eyescrews and cut your wire to that length + 2″ or so. Once cut, loop the wire through one of your eyescrews and wrap around to secure. Then pull the wire taught as you loop the other end through the other side. Wrap and snip away any excess wire!
  4. I didn’t add hanging capability to mine yet, but you can still use your new organizer by setting it on a table or other flat surface! Add your glasses and enjoy!

Hi, Lauren! I’m not sure how I missed your comment. Anyway, my glasses are from several online retailers. The pink ones are from globaleyeglasses.com. The others are from glassesshop.com, firmoo.com, coastal.com, and 1800specs.com.

I love glasses, if you have any questions about buying online let me know!
